Tower cranes are a very common feature of construction and building sites, and they can often be spotted soaring high above the skyline. Tower cranes are beneficial for a number of reasons, including their height and their reach. Stretching hundreds of feet into the air, tower cranes are used to lift a variety of dense materials, including steel and concrete, and heavy objects like tools and generators.
